EARTHENWARE FESTIVAL OF PEJAGATAN VILLAGE

May 13, 2018, Head of Kutowinangun Drs. Agus Susanto opened the Earthenware Festival of Pejagatan Village. The event organized by the youths of Pejagatan Village, which is held by Nanang Setiawan, was attended by Forkompimcam on the occasion also attended by ORI Director (Original Rekor Indonesia Award).

Concerned about the future of earthenware in Pejagatan, Nanang Setiyawan (24) took the initiative to hold a Earthenware Festival in Pejagatan Village. The purpose is to encourage the younger generation of pejagatan village and kebumen to develop and preserve the craft that has been inherited by the ancestors.

In festivals that take place in the field of Pejagatan village, villagers managed to get the award from Original Rekor Indonesia (ORI) in making the largest earthenware. Villagers of Pejagatan village managed to make earthenware from clay as many as 1439 with 100 craftsmen in a period of 3 hours. In addition to the record, there are 2 other record that solved, which is making the biggest serabi with a diameter of 1m and make the largest logo of clay with size 3x3m. Logo made is Logo Bokor Kencana is one of the palace food suppliers of the State and Taman Mini Indonesia Indah in Jakarta.

And then the Chairman of the Committee of Earthenware Festival Pejagatan, Nanang Setiyawan admitted grateful for the creation of 3 records. He also explained if the earthenware of the globe has its own uniqueness. In addition to the different shapes, the color is also black unlike other earthenware. That's because the workmanship is still manually by the hand of the artisans themselves. Differences in shape and color, it is caused by the burning process using dried bamboo leaves, resulting in black color that purportedly he said could be a bidder of toxins.

Head of Pejagatan Village, Mr. Hidayat Djuhri said that his party appreciated the activities that were implemented thanks to the cooperation of village government and youth organization. Hopefully, Pejagatan community economy can be better. "In addition, this black clay earthenware is increasingly recognized in Indonesia market to foreign countries," he said

               President of Indonesia's Original Record, Agung Elvianto, said the award is expected to bring a positive impact on the development of earthenware in Kebumen. "Our hope, after the appreciation of this earthenware will be a legend of the crafts of the work of local men, beating China in design and form. We also hope that the earthenware center in Kebumen can become one of the icon of Kebumen city and become world legend. “How to encourage English Department Students to speak English

more often and confidently”

Speaking English is a difficult thing that can be done by some people especially if the person is difficult to understand the lesson about English. However, it is not unusual anymore for English Department student to speak English. As an English Department student should be accustomed to speak English in the environment within the campus and outside the campus. Speaking English for students of English Department has also become a liability because of their chosen program study and their responsibilities as well. However, not a few students who are still difficult to speak English even still not confident to speak English in public. There are several reasons why some students of English study program find it difficult to speak English.

First, some students often find it difficult to say word for word correctly and clearly. They are often wrong in pronunciation and lack articulation so they lack confidence in their own words. Another difficulty experienced by students of English study program is the lack of vocabulary that they have. If we want to speak something using English but we do not know English from that word then we will difficult to speak English.

Second, feeling lazy. Lazy is always attached in the life especially the students. Not a few students of English Department who feel lazy to learn to speak English even practice to speak English. They think hard first before trying it. The lack of self-confidence of themselves also makes it difficult for them to try to speak English even to their own friends. Feelings of fear are wrong is another thing that usually makes English Department students difficult to speak in English. Starting from thinking wrong afraid to not want to try and continuously as it makes students difficulty in speaking. So never want to try and just silent as a passive student.

All these things can be solved with some of the solutions below. However, the main thing that needs to be done to change all that is from yourself. Intend to focus more in college and study courses and practice to speak English. Because if only because of coercion will make science is useless. There are several ways to make students majoring in English to speak more often and more confident of them are:

•        Give motivation to those who think English is difficult. Convince them if speaking English is not as difficult as they imagine. Encourage them to practice speaking English to make them more confident and passionate about practicing.
•       Habituate to communicate in English in school. Try every day in order to improve the ability to speak better and smoothly
•       Get used to communicating with close friends using English as often as possible because students usually talk more with close friends than others.
•        Join an online club that uses English in it. If you are embarrassed to know people, you can change your profile to a stranger. So, we will be more accustomed to speak English without our faces known. It can also increase confidence in speaking English to others even new people.
•     Reading English reading. Get used to reading novels, stories or fairy tales that use English to multiply our vocabulary. With so many vocabularies we have, we are able to speak English in public with confidence. No shortage of topics and can add insight also in reading.
•    Often listen to English-speaking songs. Usually people will more easily remember  something by listening, like listening to a song. They will be more familiar with the lyrics than they read the lyrics. Practice pronunciation by listening to English songs and trying to sing the lyrics.
•     Often also to watch English-language videos and pay attention to the way they speak. You can also learn how to speak English well by looking at the speech of an American. Listen clearly to their pronunciation and practice as often as possible so that our pronunciation will be better.
•       Do not forget to see the dictionary to see the correct and clear pronunciation. Initially it was hard to speak with a really clear pronunciation. However, if you train more often it will be easier and more fun.

Seeing there is no single association in hamlet of sufficient youth that can be adolescent activity especially positive ones. Where positive activities that can minimize the teenagers to perform negative activities such as hanging out, wandering the night, drinking and so forth. Sudah 3 hari aku mencari anak kesayanganku yang hilang, namun hingga sekarang aku masih belum bisa menemukannya. Memang bukan hal mudah untuk menjadi seorang single parent.

Setelah ditinggal suamiku aku kini menjadi tulang punggung keluarga ntuk mencukupi kebutuhan sehari-hari. Belum lagi aku harus menjaga dan mengurusi Yuriko setiap hari.

2 hari yang lalu memang kesalahan terbesarku kepada Yuriko. Aku memarahinya hingga dia menangis dan kabur dari rumah.

Aku sudah mencari kemana mana, namun tak ada seseorang pum yang melihat. Hingga akhirnya aku menanyakan kepada pihak kepolisian.

"Maaf pak, pernah melihat anak ini? (sambil memperlihatkan foto anakku)"
"Tidak. Saya tidak pernah melihatnya" Jawab polisi itu

Lalu aku mencoba menanyakannya kepada semua tetangga. Namun, hasilnya nihil. Tak ada yang tahu dimana keberadaan anakku.

Aku lalu pulang dengan perasaan lelah dan hampa. Perlahan kubuka pintu di ujung dekat kamar mandi dan senyumku mengemban dipipiku.
"Akhirnya, aku berhasil menyembunyikan mayat anakku tanpa ada seorang pun yang tahu"

SPARKLING THING 

Last winter, when I was a child, I really like playing with my friends in the garden. We often play together until we forgot the time. In fact we never played until the night. My name was Alexander Roberth. I was a fourth grader in Canada. 

However, after that incident my friend has died. He has gone to a quiet place in nature there. Only alone and very quiet. It seems like he likes in nature there.

It happened when I was 7 years old, when we were playing in my home garden. We played together in the garden, until my friend finds a shimmering object. It is very beautiful and reflects bright light.

My friend gave it to me. Then I played it with my friend. We played very excitingly. Even my most excited friend then. Very beautiful memories of that time. And I'll never forgot it.

However, after playing my friend silent and don’t move. When I realized he was dead when we played that thing. I did not expect him to leave me so soon.

Though I just pierced his eyes and stomach many times and slashed his hands and also his legs, but he died instead. Maybe it was his destiny. Now I just play alone without any friends accompany me again.

Steps:

1.          First, paste on some double tip around the cup or glass
2.         Then, paste the colorful straws until surround the cup or glass
3.        After the colorful straws surround the cup, cut to fit the shape of the cup or glass 
4.            Last, put the candle into the cup or glass and turn on the candle 

      

        This is a way to make the candle in a cup or glass.

Dear Nanda,

Have you ever watched a movie in a cinema alone. Is really alone. This was my first experience who I watched movie alone in cinema.  On January after final exam, I and my friends have planned to watched movies together. We consist of Olif, Dewi, Sovi, Rosita and I went watched movies in Ambarukmo Plaza Jogjakarta. We go there by prameks train. Me and Dewi went to railway station together by public transportation. And we will met at railway station. After the others have arrived, we check in and then the train departed. We got off at the Lempuyangan Station because the distance was quite close to the plaza. On arrival at the station, we ordered grab to go to Plaza.

Arrived at Plaza, then we go upstairs to book tickets. Which was interested here, I and my friends did not watch the same movie. My friends watched Ayat Ayat Cinta 2 while I watched Si Juki The Movie and different time to. Si Juki The Movie first after that thirty minute later Ayat Ayat Cinta 2. So, when we ate, I eat first because of the pursuit the time.

At 12:00, I had to leave first leave my friend because soon the movie will begin.  But, I felt anxious because no one was seen waited at the front of door of the theater 3 where Si Juki The Movie will be on air. When the door was open, and I the first person entered the room it successfully made my bristle stand up. How not, in a vast cinema with so little lighting and the many seats lined up already look very scary to me. The atmosphere is very quiet and cold maked me wanted to shout out and run back to the entrance. I was terrified but finally I decided to sit in the seats of my choice which was in the middle. Scary! Really scary! I wanted to shout out but I can’t.

Suddenly, the movie began. I still looked around and no body entered the room. Just me. You know? JUST ME HERE! I felt this cinema was mine, but on the other side I was terrified that something was not expected to happened. Almost halfway through the movie, but still no body entered the room. I tried to chat my friends told this moment, but no one replied my massage. Not long after, there are 2 people entered the room. I felt relieved and happy. Although just 3 people who watched Si Juki The Movie until end but I always laughed in every part that funny. And again….. Only me who laughed out loud. Maybe the other people think that I was freak people. Hahahaha…  I don’t care because I have often been said like that.

Ending the film, I came out first because I still feel frightened. But, my fear turned into bored because I had to wait for my friend out in half an hour. It’s not a short time, so I decided to go to Gramedia to look the book. Not long time, they called me and we went home. Don't laugh nandaa... hahahahem
